In 2001, shortly after beginning Olympia 420, Jonathan Dath met illustrator Jennifer Barrette. His writing flourished with her strong support, and soon their friendship sparked a relationship driven by more than just creative passions. Through several years of very challenging but enjoyable work, the powerful chemistry between Jonathan and Jennifer has breathed full life into this timeless story. Thus, Olympia 420 is truly a labor of love.

Jonathan Dath was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad. After an injury ended his National Team soccer career, in 1984 he came to the United States to attend Fresno State University. He finished first in his undergraduate class and then went on to earn Master of Business and Doctor of Jurisprudence degrees from the University of California. Jonathan then practiced law for several years, but the day-to-day reality of a legal career proved less satisfying than he had hoped. So at the dawn of the new millennium, he quit his law practice to pursue his passion for writing. He has never looked back.

Jennifer Barrette grew up in Northern California, where from very early she expressed herself through art. She has been a working artist for over ten years. Recently, she began living her lifelong dream to illustrate books. Now every day her unforgettable images transport readers to fascinating worlds.
